Bertha M. (Cassick) Maldet

Bertha M. Maldet, 86, Johnstown, died May 11, 2022 at Memorial Medical Center. Born August 27, 1935 in Nanty Glo, daughter of Gust and Anna (Remick) Cassick. Preceded in death by parents; and husband, John; and eight siblings. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Survived by children, Arthur L. (Renee M. Klein); and Cathy Jackson; grandchildren, Renee M. (Carl Joseph); Wyatt Jackson (Shadyn Swope); and Brittney Jackson (Sam Licastro); 4 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. At Bertha's request, there will be no public viewing. A graveside service will be held Monday at 10AM at Forest Lawn Cemetery Chapel with Paul Hamilton officiating.
