Carlos Datiz, 81, Johnstown, died March 20, 2024 at Memorial Medical Center. Born April 4, 1942 in Anasco, Puerto Rico, son of Benancio and Gloria (Matias) Datiz. Preceded in death parents; and 4 brothers. Survived by wife, Bienvenida (Feliciano); children, Carlos, Jr.; Javier; Ivette (Peter Churney); and Emily (John Reckner); 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and siblings, Norma Martinez , Gloria Martinez, Tingo (Mary), and Jamie (Cory). He was a member of St. Benedict Catholic Church. He was a retired underwriter from Met Life Insurance Company. Friends received 1-3PM Sunday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Funeral mass will be held 10AM Monday at St. Benedict Church with Father David Peles as celebrant. Committal, St. John Gualbert Cemetery.
