John C. Sheehan "Jack" Jr., 89, Johnstown, died July 28, 2021 at McCullough Place. Born September 6,1931 in Johnstown. Son of John C. Sr. and Laura (Hipp) Sheehan. Preceded in death by parents and beloved wife Shirley Jean (Mishler). Survived by children: Deborah, married to Richard Markum; John III, married to Pam (Vaughan); Mark, married to Marsha (DeLuca); and Bernadette Sheehan. Siblings Bernadette (Joe Katzenstein), David "Butch" (Elaine ); thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren who called him Pappy. Devoted member and long time volunteer of St. Andrews Catholic Church. Jack was an avid sports fan and always rooted for his Duke Blue Devils. He especially enjoyed coaching basketball and little league baseball. Jack always could be found in the stands supporting his children and grandchildren. He deeply missed his wife of 67 years who passed away in March and will be joining her in Heaven. Formerly employed at U.S. Steel and Lockheed Martin. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Friends will be received Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave.. A funeral mass will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at St. Andrews Catholic Church, Fr. Peter Crowe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrews Catholic Church. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by Menoher VFW Post 155.
