Joseph Salem

SALEM- Joseph Jr., 80, Johnstown. Passed away April 16, 2021 at home. Born June 12, 1940 in Johnstown. Son of Joseph Sr. and Widet (Hyder) Salem. Preceded in death by parents, brother Dr. Harvey and sister Diane Miskar. He enjoyed his last 15 years with his soulmate, Beth Croyle and his dearly beloved cat Bugsy. Also survived by his brother Gary of Johnstown and sister Judy Hamilton of Perkasie, PA. Joseph attended Cambria Rowe and was in the National Guard. He retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. and Cambria Residential. Attended West Hills Community Church. Friends will be received Thursday from 1:00 until time of funeral service at 2:00 at Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, 434 First St., Conemaugh. Pastor Steve Vickroy will be officiating.
