Kathleen A. (Moore) Lesser

Kathleen A. Lesser, 93, Johnstown, died September 15, 2022 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born June 13, 1929 in Blacklick Twp., daughter of Jay and Ruth (King) Moore. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 49 years, Rueben; brothers, Jay and Elbert; and sisters, Ruth Lingenfelter,, and Mildred Smith. Survived by children, Susan (Thomas Thompson); David (Barbara Ingrim); Dianne; and Jayne (Brian O'Connor); grandsons, John Thompson, Dan Thompson (Morgan), David Lesser (Leah), Tyler Lesser (Marina), Jared Lesser (Elizabeth), Zachary O'Connor, and Sean O'Connor; great grandchildren, Johnnie, Holden, Emilia Thompson; and Ella, Eleanor, and Edie Lesser; sister, Phyllis (Regis Schilling); sisters-in-law, Jane Moore, Lena Moore, and Joann (Edward Greene); and numerous nieces and nephews. Kathleen was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1952. She was involved with the Women of Missions Sewing Circle; and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved playing pinochle, but most of all, she loved spending time with her family. The Lesser family extends a heart-felt thank you to the staffs at Arbutus Park Manor and Windber Hospice for the loving, compassionate care and support provided to Kathleen and her family. By request, there will be no public viewing. Funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family.
