Linda Grace (Clites) Michael

Linda Grace Michael, 79, Johnstown, died September 15, 2021 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born April 8, 1942 in Johnstown. Daughter of Earl and Melva (Hillegas) Clites. Preceded in death by parents; husband Charles J.; daughter Eleanor Michael; brother Clint; sisters Eva Gaydos, Ruby Thomas and Mary Wachs. Survived by children Deirdra Michael, Charles A., Andrea Lamantia, Douglas (Kimberly), Claudine (Thomas Seitz), Kevin (Holly); siblings Alice Rummel, Floyd (Louise), Rayford (Paula), Paul (Janet), Sharon Lohr; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also, her beloved feline Rosie. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest love was watching her grandchildren. She was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral where she was involved with many activities including Rosary Alter Society, choir and Eucharist minister. She loved playing pinochle, Elvis and watching the Steelers. She graduated from Johnstown High School in 1961. The family would like to express great appreciation to the staff at Arbutus Crossroads who made her feel special and cared for her. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2:00-6:00 pm at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, celebrant Fr. James Crookston, Rector Emeritus. Entombment at St. Joseph Mausoleum.
