Mary Katherine Hershberger, 97, Johnstown, died January 19, 2023 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born March 30, 1925 in Johnstown, daughter of Lloyd Newton and Olive Edith (Paul) Hershberger. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Howard and Lloyd Donald; sister-in-law, Mary Frances Hershberger; nieces, Jean Ann Hershberger and Gloria Jean Barkley; and great nephew, William James Warhul, III. Survived by nieces, Carol Ann Vitko, Cindy Lee Hay, and Susan Joy Tomko; and numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church, where she was an avid quilter. Friends received Monday from 10AM until the hour of service at 11AM at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., with Pastor Adam Dotts officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery.
