William McGowan Obituary

William G. McGowan, "Chilli", 65, Johnstown, died September 10, 2021. Born August 3, 1956 in McKeesport, son of Richard Day and Lucille McGowan. Preceded in death by father; and brothers, Kimberlee and Richard. Survived by children, Anthony Berry, Chante McGowan, and Ian Banks; grandchildren, Lilliana, Braylin, Marcus, and Anthony; and sister, Bobby Jo McGowan- Bolton. He was a member of Flood City Lodge 371, IBPOE. He worked for Local 910 for 32 years. Chilli loved the Steelers, and lived for his family. Friends received Saturday from 11AM until the hour of service at 1PM at John Henderson Company Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., with Bishop Joseph McGauley officiating. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
